Meditation is the biggest life advice for me. the day i starting to improve me myself. It’s a biggest mental skill you can learn in your life.
Imagine yourself as you have full control on your feeling, your thought, you can control your own action, your own habits, it can guarantee to revolutionize your life.
Meditation it’s a cheat code of your life. it can change your life, achieve your dreams, It has lot’s of benefits and some of them surprise you.
Meditation increase your self control, with it you can control weigh loss, manage your anger issues, manage your anxiety attacks. It can improve your sleep, helps you for better, it can increase your focus.
These are benefit are just you fell from your outside, but the biggest deep benefits of meditation are from your inside, you can take any situation very calmly. It doesn’t matter if you “break up”, you “loose a job” it doesn’t matter to you, even you can break your addiction, you feel very connected from your surrounding
But today’s problem is that people have made meditation very complicated to sell there coursers, to sell there books.
you don’t need that coursers that books, no need to spend any money. the basic practice of meditation are very simple. in the end of this article you will know all the things you need to start meditation.
You have to careful of 3 things to make your meditation practice successful. But, before this I will let you know what is meditation?
“The simple way to describe meditation is to keep control of your mind, and keep your mind calm.”
First thing you have to look is your environment. Find a comfortable space for sitting. It does not matter that you sit on a chair or sit on a ground folding your legs, just keep that in mind that while your sit keep your back straight. This is very important, if you did not keep you’re back straight and you fall down resting your self than you are going to sleep and we did not want that.
Make sure there are no distraction. and no one there to disturb you, set 10-20 minute timer on your sell phone, I recommended you if you’re doing it first time don’t go longer than 20 minute as a beginner.
You can play relaxing music in your background. But, personally I did not use any kind of music, but, I see lot of people using music. it helps them to meditate, Keep in mind that music should not be too loud and don’t use music that have words in it. it can distract you.
2 The Technique
Lots of gurus are there which show you lots of different kind of techniques.
The easiest technique is this
”Just close your eyes and focus on your breath”
“Breathe in and breathe out”
Concentrate on how your breathe are going your inside and how it expand your lungs. Feel how tension just disappeared from your body like an air.
Now you notice that when you just start doing your mind quickly going distracted.
This what we call a “Monkey Mind”
Five second you start doing it and you realize that “did i lost a key in my car” “I have to make urgent phone calls” etc.
This distraction are quite heavy on your mind and suddenly you feel like just getting up and go away and doing anything else.
But do not make this distraction heavy on you. Bring back your focus on your breathe, When ever thought comes in don’t get irritate, do not think you wasting your time, this is just a thought.
imagine every thought like a cloud, don’t think about thought just concentrate and thought are coming and going like cloud does.
This will teach you to meditation and how will you get rid of the clutters that all day working on your mind. When your time up just gets up and start your day.
Do make meditation as easy as for you. Find a corner in your house where you always meditate, select fix time for meditation that you everyday follow.
Why you do this?
Because when you set meditation as a routine it will work easy for you to meditate everyday. What I will do? I do meditate everyday after doing exercise this my morning routing part, after an exercise just after my body’s angry are too low, I do not get hyperactive and this is why I sit calmly and focus on my breathe.
basically you have to do all those things to make meditation an habit and you do it every single day.
3 Consistency is key
Most important things for taking benefits of meditation is consistency. Means you do meditate every single day.
If you going to gym just 1-2 times a week result did not reflect on you and you didn’t get benefit of going to gym.
Same things works on meditation doing it 1-2 times a week want help you. You have to do it daily.
That I understand, starting a new habit is not that easy. That’s why I recommend you to select small timer like a 10minute and set this for everyday meditation.
Now, I tell you why most of people did not continue doing meditation everyday.
Think as you start doing meditation for 2 week. Now, you don’t feel improvement in your life and you start doing it. Meditation did not work like that.
Meditation is the powerful thing. But, this is not a one night’s play. Benefits come in your life but it takes time.
Those benefits are from your insides but, you can trust me if you make it a habit for you and you do it everyday you will change and you will become a completely different person than you are today.
Don’t get too frustrated if you gate distracted on every 10 second, just bring your focus back set your timer and just follow it .
Till time you bring back focus on your breathe from all those distraction you will doing right progress.
It my happen in beginning you just concentrate and just gate distracted after 5 second.
Till the time you doing your practice right and keep your self throwing in meditation’s buzz you will get improving in your life.
And the best thing is this when you get good at this and you do it for quite some “months”,“years” and the state of mind you get from meditation is just always 1 second away when you feel stress in those situation, you just need to take a deep breathe and you will go in those state of mind and you just going to be relax as a person and you can use this to world’s unlimited creativity.
